Sampdoria have officially announced that they have signed midfielder Winks on loan from Tottenham. Winks, 26, is a player trained in the Tottenham youth academy.
Winks, who wore a cheap shirt last season, made 30 appearances for Tottenham, scoring 2 goals and providing 2 assists. Winks made a total of 203 appearances for Tottenham, scoring five goals, and he had never left Tottenham before.
Sampdoria officials said that Winks will wear the Sampdoria jersey for a year, and they can also choose to buy out after the loan period expires.
